One, generally for K - 3 rd graders and the second , for fourth through sixth graders. One male and one female student is chosen and each becomes the recipients of a new bicycle donated by the Roy P. Benavidez-Robert Patterson “All Airborne”Chapter of the 82nd Airborne Division Association, Incorporated. The children are also provided with free drinks and snacks and receive free stuffed animals or toys and free books.

Science Fair Judging
At
Rusk Elementary School

Members of the Chapter were recently called upon to act as judges for the recent Science Fair Competition at Rusk Elementary School. The judges carefully listened to the verbal presentations of the youngsters and judged their displays and their entries with impartiality.

Although the children were allowed to received limited outside help from family members or friends, their entries amazed judges as the youngsters  still had to present their entries, verbally, and explain each concept of the project with a satisfactory hypothesis and conclusion. Officials at Rusk Elementary made the common mistake of first, requesting assistance from the Marines but everyone should know, the AIRBORNE is the 911 of the Free World and are the First Responders in time of crisis.
