Jan 1988 - Members of the 82nd Airborne Division land after jumping from C-141B Starlifter aircraft. President Ronald Reagan mobilized U.S. exercise task force Dragon/Golden Pheasant, consisting of both the 82nd Airborne Division and the 7th Light Infantry Division, to help discourage Nicaraguan forces from entering Honduras.
